My name is Chantal, and I’m the person behind Pour Decisions Gifts. I’m Dutch, born and raised in the Netherlands, and I made Belfast my home in 2020, arriving just three weeks before the first lockdown hit. It made settling into a new city and a new country considerably harder than planned, but I’m glad I stayed. Belfast has a way of getting under your skin.

I came to resin in 2025, looking for something to do with my hands and my head at the same time. It turned out that pouring resin, the colour mixing, the waiting, the never-quite-knowing what you’re going to get, was exactly what my autistic brain needed. It regulates me in a way that’s hard to explain and easy to underestimate. What started as a hobby became something else pretty quickly. One piece led to another, and before long I had more trinket trays than surfaces to put them on.

So, I did what any sensible person would do: I made it a shop.

I make everything myself, in Belfast, in small batches. I also trade in person at craft fairs and festivals around the city, which means if you’ve picked something up from my table, you’ve already met me. Hi again.

My studio assistant is Toby, a former stray cat who takes his supervisory role very seriously and has strong opinions about which pours deserve his attention. He is not for sale.

Everything here is one-of-a-kind, or close to it. Resin has a mind of its own — the colours move, the glitter settles where it wants, and no two pours come out exactly the same. I’ve stopped fighting that. Controlled chaos, but aesthetically useful.

I’m AuDHD, which means I have autism and ADHD. I make things that make me happy, and I hope they do the same for you.
